Do you think war will break out soon in the Balkans? Would conflict confirm GD or prove to be an exception?

How very clear that the NWO globalists live in what would musically be an off key mental stratosphere.
These are countries we fought to liberate in the 1940's. American cemeteries remain as reminders, apparently to no avail. (We have 50,000,000 examples here of why borders matter.)
What constructive results would issue from this proposal? Is anyone dealing the reality that the cultures will fight to remain separate? Should those pushing this war-generating idea imagine history can be erased, keep in mind that Israelis continue to search for Jew-murdering nazis.
Sigh.

One reason that some consider Kosovo not to be an independent country is that it has no military forces of its own and it is occupied by foreign military forces. In this way it is similar to Bosnia-Herzegovina. These two factors (having no military and being occupied by foreign military) usually mean that a country is at best a puppet state.

As far as I am aware, NATO itself has so far issued no official statement on whether Kosovo is independent. If NATO has, can someone please refer me to it?

The Current status of Both Bosnia and Kosovo is fundamentally artificial. It is imposed by selfish boomers imposing an unwanted peace on the combatants instead of letting the wars there play themselves out naturally. This is especially true if you factor in other combatants such as the Croats and Macedonians, in addition to the Serbs and the Muslims. This does not mean that the Serbs would have dominated, in fact they were on the verge of being completely defeated, but instead of a greater Croatia being created in the end, the Balkans instead got enclave federalism imposed on them by "blue helmets" instead of actual victory or actual defeat. Yet another example of selfish boomers ruining something due to their so-called "big hearts".

It's not NATOs place to say what countries are independent. That is left up to national governments. NATO fought to free Kosova from Serbian domination. It was never its mission to determine its political status.

The nations who do not recognize Kosova do that to deter independence movements in their own territory: China (Tibet), Spain (Barcelona), Azerbjian (Norgo-Karbahk), Russia (Chechnya--though hypocritically supporting break away regions that are allied to Moscow, i.e. Transnistria , Abkhazia, and South Ossetia), Greece (Turkish Cyprus), and Israel (Palestine). The rest of the world recognizes it. Russia and China block its admission to the UN.

Kosova is NOT permitted by the EU and NATO to have a standing army. It's a bizarre situation for a nation that borders potential invaders like Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia.

This I agree with. The Serbs were on the verge of total defeat and were planning to defend Belgrade (in Serbia) from advancing Bosnian and Croat soldiers. The Dayton Peace Accords are a shameful peace. The Muslims were sold out completely.

Of course. John said that Kosovo's independence was recognized by NATO and the EU, but I don't think that is accurate. NATO's official statements (that I have read) have been very carefully worded not to address the issue.

This is partially correct, bot not complete. As you point out, Putin supports break-away regions that are his allies, or rather puppet states occupied by Russian troops. But he opposes separatist when the mother state is his ally. In this case, Serbia and Russia are traditional allies. Similarly, Greeks are traditionally allied with the Serbs against the Albanians, who in turn are allied with the Turks, historic enemy of the Greeks. It really comes down to politics. The principles of law are rewritten to fit the politics every time.

Hence the argument that it is a puppet state.
