Boston Globe - "Trump the traitor"

New York Times - "Trump, treasonous traitor"

Fox News - "He should have defended us" Even Trump defenders are getting fed up with him.

Both Republicans and Democrats are outraged over disgraceful Trump.

I would caution everyone to avoid reading too much into the massive,
cosmic hysteria and madness going on right now. Nothing that happened
yesterday even matters, except to politicians practicing fatuous
political nonsense.

Are you going to comment on this? A lowly visitor in the peanut gallery values your opinion. I don't trust the TV networks at all anymore. I support President Trump. I don't want him to back down on anything.

I was in the Peanut Gallery once. The main thing I remember was that
Buffalo Bob was always smiling when he was on camera, and was always
angry and scowling when he was off-camera, and looked like he wanted
to kill someone.

Anyway, two weeks ago people wanted to impeach Trump because he
separated children from their parents. Today it's the Putin press
conference. In a couple of weeks it will be something else. It's all
meaningless. Even if Trump promised Putin in their private meeting
that Alaska would be returned to Russia, it means nothing, because
nothing will come of it. Words mean nothing. Only actions count.
And no actions (such as lifting the sanctions against Russia) have
taken place.

Bingo! We have a winner! :)

The "problem" (if that's the right word) is the acceleration of the "erosion" of the value of words, and the acceleration of the increasing value of actions/deeds.

I'm beginning to think that there's some intrinsic link between the value of words and the value of human life.

When the only valid "currency" within relationships between people are "actions/deeds", bad actions/deeds are more likely to occur (as actions in general, as opposed to actual conversation, are more likely to occur).

People are truly amazing in how they (unconsciously?) create positive feedback loops that feed the very forces that they profess to despise.

..then again, perhaps that's the "secret" to the "population control system" that keeps humanity in check and meandering, back and forth, toward figuring out a way "through" that genocidal "energy barrier" into our eventual "beauty based" evolution (as opposed to survival based evolution).

..or our reduction to a "subservient supporting lifeform" to the real apex/summit lifeform on this homeworld.

"YOUR KID may be Tomorrow's Neanderthal..! Stock up on mastodon chops,.. NOW!"

(( Side note: "beauty based evolution" is really just a variant of "survival based evolution", but we'll talk about that later. ))

Yes some here are clearly more primitive than others. Clearly one would have to be a psychopath to see any beauty in what will likely unfold. Now what are these actions you see that can stop this survival based nightmare?

This "beauty based evolution" thing is how "life" evolves AFTER it "solves" (not really the right word, but we'll ignore that for now) the "problem"/"energy barrier" of the genocidal cycle (the GD Crisis War Cycle).

While there IS a certain (technical) "beauty" to the way the GD Cycle works, there is certainly no beauty in genocide per se.

As to the "how do we get around the GD Cycle" question: I've given one possible way that that might be surmounted somewhere else in here (I'm really not sure where), but it basically boils down to the following...

Unite the mentality of all humanity about the nature of the cycle by way of "fully immersive emotional education" such that any "recalcitrant" sub-culture who can't "recalibrate" their cycle "position" (to "peaceful") at will, and at least "per generation", is "eliminated" (surgically excised) from humanity, so that each "nation" deals with other nations, and their internal populations, in a voluntary trade way.

Klaatu barada nikto! Or is it just Klaatu barada?

..no biggy. Easy peasy, yeah!? <chuckle!>

A natural result of this would prompt "nations" to make as much space as possible between themselves and other nations, which will propel us into (firstly) the surrounding solar system like blobs of tomato goo and seeds from a bite by an old man with dull dentures.

Obviously this ain't happenin' this cycle, or the next,.. though maybe before the next, as "the singularity" may "magically" arrange things so as to allow the cycle to be "surmounted"?

..don't know. But the upcoming cycle crisis is extremely likely to NOT be avoided by what might be, or presently is, a very immature "Singularity AI".

Any thoughts? :) Aloha! <shaka!>
