In the early 1950's when we got our first TV set and watched commercials, I observed to my parents that words no longer had meaningful definitions. The practice of putting ambiguous terms on paper now passes as communication/agreement.

I don't think Ethiopia was ever an Italian colony before 1935. Do you have a source I can refer to that says it was a colony in the 1800s?John wrote:As I described in my 2016 Generational history of Ethiopia and Eritrea, Ethiopia is a Christian country, and Eritrea is a Muslim countries. The two countries were Italian colonies in the 1800s, and again in the late 1930s as "Italian East Africa." Eritrea declared independence from Ethiopia in 1993, leading to the 1998-2000 border war. It's very unlikely that there will be lasting peace.
