In the late 50's, my GYN's waiting room table featured a treatise against socialized medicine. Obviously a foreward thinking man. The doctor guaged the prospects of future wars by comparative male and female births. (Please keep in mind that The Pill was then banned by the RC's.)
China is the posterchild for failed social engineering. Xi's world domination plans depend on a perpetually agreeable victimized poor population. The Berlin Wall came down. The Silk Road will get pot holes as it ages. The Chinese are not tribal and those even briefly sojourning in Japan cannot but notice the gap in overall living conditions.
Just an aside: djt--cast your genius on legal American birth rates versus those of illegal invaders. There's a message in those stats, and it's not subtle.
