Iqbal claims to embrace sufi islam which leftist Wiki categorizes as "mysticism". His time in America seems to have been shed as rapidly as each of his either elected or appointed politican positions. Without his mother's clout, I wonder if Ashan would have any national significance.
Pakistani's have little evident positive regard for each other let alone the outside world. Elections will do little to change the internal perpetual factional pot stirring. Iqbal would do well to beef up his security.
