Socotra's state is representative of all the world's conflicts--control, real estate, power mongering and greed. The Yemen question is akin to dividing Jerusalem (a no-go).
The Saudi's are adept at playing 4D chess. Whether that trumps raw violence remains to be seen. Interesting that the Saudi prince is doing a world meet and greet. Meanwhile the Yemenese are starving and dying. Wonder if the partying UN members are as concerned with people as they are with exotic trees?
