John, you mention Putin and his agenda and changing strategems. Are his advisors all loyal party men? We do not hear of inside policy divisions. Putin carries a big stick, thrusting and sometimes clubbing at will.
Does Trump have unity in his advisors? In the Pentagon? How many Pentagon strategists are barry leftovers? Long term goals are either nationalist, as in Russia's eternal case, or NWO as in barry's intent. Trump must be certain deep state has not slithered into the Pentagon which has ever been factional. All of this matters.

The two articles that I referenced from the Jamestown Eurasia Daily
Monitor (EDM) contain links to numerous Russian sources, some of which
expose conflicts among Putin's advisors. As far as I know, the rule
in communist governments is that it's OK to differ in private while
options are being discussed, but once the dictator has made a
decision, everyone has to fully support it, and these days it means
sending out the trolls to support it.

You might wish to subscribe to the EDM newsletter, which I've
found to be pretty reliable:

Why is China putting up with this kind of activity in it's indisputable territorial waters?

This is Just Globalism run a muck. In any serious war those bases would be immediately cut off from resupply and picked off piecemeal. Russia or China would immediately attack those bases if war broke out between the US and either of those countries. JohnX's illogical argument that US bases in its traditional sphere of influence would be immediately attacked by either China or Russia in a war, but that these same Chinese or Russian strategists would leave American Bases that are located right next to both Russia and China intact, is fundamentally irrational.

You globalists call anyone who doesn't agree with messianic imposition of democracy everywhere a "Russian troll" or a "Chinese troll". The Facts are that US bases practically surround both Russia and China. What are the likely Russian or Chinese war aims in a war with the US: Conquest of the near-abroads of Russia and China in a war with the US, destruction of all US assets within those near abroads and expulsion of all bases from the aforementioned areas, forcing america to accept a peace treaty recognizing those facts. Conquest of the former USSR territories and of the Taiwan/south China sea littorial The Enemy war aims probably DO NOT include conquest of North America. Given those facts why would any Russian or Chinese strategist leave American bases just sitting there right next to the Russian heartlands or the Chinese heartlands.

I'm sure that the German war aims in WWII only included nearby countries too. You know, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, France, and eventually the US and US. The same could be said of the Soviet Union that only wanted to put its troops in nearby countries like Poland, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Cuba, and so on. We could also talk about the Roman Empire or any other. When in all of history has an evil dictator who conquered his neighbours been satisfied with his conquests. There is always a new neighbour.

I am not a globalist. But Vladimir Putin is one and I am stuck with that fact.
