More riots. The Gaza confrontations are occurring in open country. Room to move around, dodge bullets and involve tens of thousands of demonstrators.
If the pictures are of current Kashmir uprisings, the militants are crowded into city streets and easy to pick off. The 2010 conflict featured Koran burning. While this battle series has religious roots, the Indian house raids seem to be the more direct cause. Unless Indian troops commit genocide, such tactics will only further inflame the militants. John did not mention Pakistani active support for the Kashmiri movement. However, if these religious differences aggravated by clashes continue, two nuclear nations could indeed engage. Considering remains of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there may be only survivors and no winner.
