I have a question: Is it possible that the north part of Syria is on a generational timeline synced with Turkey instead of the rest of Syria? I am particularly
curious about the Kurdish and Turkmen tribes. What signs should we be looking for to see whether these tribes are in an awakening era or a crisis era?

President Moon is incredibly foolish. He continues to be publicly humiliated by the North Koreans. The situation is so bad that it beggars belief. President Moon is making the same mistake that president Lee Myung-bak made at the beginning of his own administration; namely, disconnecting from the vast majority of his own people; even the people who voted for him. The North Koreans have co opted the games for their own purposes and to the detriment of South Koreans. People here deserved to be ridiculed. If Park Geun Hye was still president, none of this would have happened. Better to be ruled by a cynical shaman that a utter fool.

Do you think the South Korean government will cut a deal with North Korea? One prominent North Korean defector said two weeks ago that he believes that is exactly what has happened. Can war on the peninsula be averted if President Moon is willing to make more concessions to the North Koreans?

What do the North Koreans want exactly? This is the confusing part. What are they going to get out of all of this trouble?

John's post is now in WH hands. His analysis of the UN's existence, especially America-based presence, is dead center.
Imagine the item's lead photo as being San Francisco. No stretch unless trump gets a spine, ditches the self-chosen and barry holdover globalists and revisits the factual history to which he was exposed.
Blocking humanitarian aid. Can that be to conserve supplies since Eastern Ghouta will soon be an uninhabited devastation? Neither the UN nor the unholy Syrian/Russian/Iranian triumverate have any credibility. The BBC is reporting genocide minute by minute. How many civilians have been murdered while I key this?

Isn't it obvious that Kim wants to rule South Korea? He would soon reduce SK's relative prosperity to s__thole status and incinerate the Christian population. So haggling over Olympic ceremonies continues while Kim perfects his missles and DJT ponders gun registry??
Anyone for priorities and focus?
How about competent conservative advisors and an end to 4D ego chess?

You want the US to be even more aligned with the UN than it already is. Trump was elected to do the exact opposite policy.

Among the Alawites, I would point to the large numbers of defections
and desertions from Bashar al-Assad's army as being Awakening era
behavior.

** 4-Apr-16 World View -- Syria's Alawites threaten to abandon Bashar al-Assad
** http://www.generationaldynamics.com/pg/ ... tm#e160404

Among the Turks, I would point to the highly nationalistic response to
the coup attempt, and their unconditional support and acceptance of
Erdogan's arrests firing of hundreds of thousands of civil servants,
academics, politicians, and media personnel as indicating Crisis era
behavor. In fact, this behavior began prior to the coup attempt.

** 6-Nov-16 World View -- Turkey's Erdogan eliminates more opposition in quest for power
** http://www.generationaldynamics.com/pg/ ... tm#e161106

** 6-Mar-16 World View -- Turkey's 'shameful day for free press' as government seizes Zaman media
** http://www.generationaldynamics.com/pg/ ... tm#e160306

As for the Turkmens and Kurds along the border, I don't know how to
sort them out without a lot of research on the ground.

Cynic:
I was since inception and remain in absolute opposition to the UN.
Did you miss yesterday's comment terming the UN an anti-American cocktail circuit group? Why America continues to waste valuable real estate on these leaching ingrates is unknowable. The building "bugs" cannot be collecting valuable intel, and the barry holdover CIA, DHS, USSS simps would have no idea where to go with hot data.
The UN is worse than useless and not a cent of taxpayer money should support it.
