Principles and economics matter. Today's politicians ignore those prime factors to this nation's and the world's damage. Mongolia is a lesson in both. Our country is now fragmented so understanding Mongolia's history should not be so difficult.
What would happen to your mind set if your spiritual sect was banned, worship site closed and clerics murdered?
What happens when irresponsible economic policies are followed, currency is unbacked, printed in worthless amounts and the entire country's economy tanks? Can you see any similarities between Mongolia and America? Frankly I think the Mongolians have a better chance of recovery than do we. Their spiritual core has returned and a head of state elected who has really cares about his nation.
Now comes the test. What will this new president do? Does he have the inner govt core support to make constructive change? Will he really make Mongolia first? He has no democratic republic model to follow.
