One of those links says Arabs don't manufacture their own weapons. This is a very interesting point.
"... At the recent Arab summit, in Sirte, [Libya], the delegates said: 'We will fight [Israel].' They counted tanks, and concluded that [the Arabs] have more tanks than Israel does. They did the same with planes, and said: 'We have 3,000, while Israel has [only] 1,500, so we can defeat it.' Whoever talks this way is forgetting that Israel has 250 munitions factories, [whereas] the Arab states – which of them can manufacture [so much as] a bullet?http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/4503.htm
So the Palestinians have some home made rockets (perhaps not counting as manufactured) and Pakistan has some A-bombs. But is it generally true that Arabs don't manufacture their own weapons?
Another point or two. In Israel everyone has bomb shelters and practice using them (in part because of the home made rockets coming in). Also, Israel has lots of A-bombs.
The GD clash of civilizations prediction: "The Clash of Civilizations world war will be fought between big powerful adversaries -- a new "axis" most likely consisting of China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, North Korea and their allies, versus America, India, Russia, Japan, and the UK and their allies."http://www.generationaldynamics.com/cgi ... redictions
It seems like Israel is about enough to take on the Arabs. China is working on some new missiles it might be able to neutralize America's aircraft carrier power. http://www.coloradoconnection.com/news/ ... ?id=493215
If A-bombs start flying, which I assume would be part of a genocidal war, things will be very messy very fast. But as far as conventional weapons, China's side of the clash of civilizations war does not seem strong enough so far to be eager to start a major war. But after the US dollar falls to hyperinflation, the balance of economic power will shift substantially. Looking back it seems strange that Germany could take on all the enemies that it did in WW2 after being such a mess in 1923. In less than 15 years for China could be in a far stronger position to fight a war. It does look like China is building up. No doubt we live in interesting times.
