Some fact checking is in order. it was prime minister abbott. Rudd couldn't find his way out of a wet paper bag.
Conditions in the detention centres as reported are media hype, and they have since been held accountable for spruiking the lies of special interest groups.

Comey may had done what he did because he had no other option.

EXCLUSIVE: Resignation letters piling up from disaffected FBI agents, his wife urging him to admit he was wrong: Why Director Comey jumped at the chance to reopen Hillary investigation
James Comey revived the investigation of Clinton's email server as he could no longer resist mounting pressure by mutinous agents, sources say
The atmosphere at the FBI has been toxic ever since Jim announced last July that he wouldn't recommend an indictment against Hillary
He told his wife that he was depressed by the stack of resignation letters piling up on his desk from disaffected agents
Comes was also worried that Republicans would accuse him of granting Hillary political favoritism after the presidential election
When new emails allegedly linked to Hillary's personal server turned up in Abedin and Anthony Weiner's computer, Comey jumped at the excuse

Hello America! There is no "email scandal"!

But I guess America hates a "nasty woman" as much as it hates a Kenyan Muslim...

John, just a "for what it's worth" comment about the woman herself.
In April of this year I traveled to Costa Rica for my yearly surf get-away to catch some quality waves. While down there, and heading out on a boat to "Ollies Point/Witches Rock" to catch some of that quality surf, I met Mike. An early 40-something I'd say, he and another friend of his were there for the same quality surf reason.
During the ensuing 30 minute ride out to the breaks, we briefly found out what each one did for a "living." Mine of course as you know fell into the "Retired" column, and so was Mike's friend.
Mike on the "vague" hand (because he sort of vaguely kept it that way) was working in some sort, A-Team-ish/CIA-ish/Covert-ish/SWAT-ish/Whatever-One-Wants-To-Call-It-ish capacity realm. And no matter how hard I tried to pry and get all nosy-like on just what he EXACTLY did for a "living" on the way out, during the surf session, and on the way back, I couldn't get anymore than that (i.e., it wasn't your normal 9-5 GO USA job).
Anyway...my point break is (and "Ollie's" sure came through with the point break goods that day) is that after asking Mike who did he think would win the Presidential election, in a nano-second he told me matter of factly that Hillary would win. And by no means was he FOR Hillary per-se, he just somewhat dead-panned said that there was too many countries and powers in high and dark places who owe her and want her to win so-as to own. He then finished up with blowing my mind with: "After eight years of her, then there will be Michelle."
So...I don't know if Mike knew about all of what was to come (i.e., "Clinton e-mail media storm shows sudden change in public mood")...but I guess we'll find out in 9 days if he was then-correct.
Otherwise...today is my 8th year of retirement and I'm still lovin' it.
