Also in his [Xi’s] speech, the Chinese president introduced a host of fresh moves including loans, financial aid and common investment fund to help improve livelihood, fight terrorism and promote development in the Arab world.
Xi also offered in his speech 300 million dollars for law enforcement cooperation, police training so as to help build up the abilities of the regional countries to maintain stability.
China also planned to provide 1,000 training opportunities for young Arab leaders, and strengthen exchanges among their think tanks, experts and scholars.

There are similarities to what is happening here and German relationship to the Ottoman Empire prior to WW1. Not to mention China's activities in Africa and Central and South America (also similar to Germany). One of the important points for this visit is a movement towards GenDyn predicted alignment, Silk Road growth to ensure Oil and finished feedstock to China at probably very good pricing levels. Saudi Arabia needs the money and support right now especially in light of recent US alignment with Russia and Iran. This is going to be critical when China attacks Russia so China must diversify. This includes moves in the S Pacific which is key to controlling sea routes and oil/gas reserves as well as fisheries. In this sense their move to supply Pakistan with nuclear subs plus recent artificial island development may be attempts to try and secure maritime routes during the conflict.

As in WW2 submarines are going to play an important part. If I were the US and Russia I would stock up on submarines as they will probably be more important than “capital ships’ which are vulnerable to modern missile technology and tactical nuclear attacks. Also I would offer India any help she needs to modernize her navy quickly. These moves will of course only exacerbate the issue with China but this is taking place even if they did nothing.
