We've got plenty of our own delusions right now. Many people here seem to think that we'll never have to fight another major war, that we're in minimal danger, that we're so far superior to everyone else that no one would dare attack us, let alone succeed in doing so. Individuals who try and warn about the threat China poses is merely dismissed as a "neo-con warmonger" or that the reports are nothing but scare tactics.

If you have watched the video under "how the mind functions " in "Science, Technology and the Singularity" you may get a better understanding of why the China issue is dismissed, and why it is difficult to change peoples minds, even when they "know"
