Possibly not the best place to post this one but it so goes along with John's posts since 2011/12 that I couldn't help myself. At the same time it occured to me that as in the case of Turkey with the Kurds could it be that the US is going light on ISIS to let them put pressure on Assad? That plus they can leverage new federal powers off of the fear that gets generated.
