What the EU has to do is start seizing assets and deporting Russian citizens en masse. The Russians expats in the EU are not only obnoxious street trash, they are also a fifth column. The Russian rich and upper classes only love Russia when they don't have to live there. MAKE Russian expats go home and LIVE in Russia. They will hate it, and they quickly move to physically eliminate Putin (i.e. kill him). This is not difficult to comprehend. And besides, Russians are horrible to sit next to on an airplane, next to in a restaurant or cafe, shop in the same store with, or (God help you) live next door to. There physical expulsion would do wonders to improve the quality of life in the West. By all means: Rebuild the Iron Curtain.

Also, arm the Chechens with Stingers and any other advanced weapon systems possible.

Blockade two-faced Serbia from the West. Let the Russians pay for them. too.

Restart the Cold War. We will win. Russia is a wall, but, as Lenin pointed out, give it a hard push, and it will fall down.

Why are you still spouting the MSMs nonsensical crap about the ukraine situation, when usually this blog is good at finding the underlying story?

Crimea was not annexed, it had a perfectly legitimate vote and decided to join Russia.
The so-called separatists are fighting the Maiden neo-nazi thugs that overthrew Ukraines democratically elected government.
There are russians fighting on the "separatists" side, they have come voluntarily. Fighting on the other side are the USA's mercenaries and black ops teams, paid for by the USA and the EU.
There is Zero evidence of any Russian involvement in either destabilising Ukraine or shooting down a passenger jet.

The USA is the one threatening WW3, not Russia.

I am reporting the underlying story -- that thousands of Russian
soldiers have invaded Ukraine and joined with anti-government
Ukrainian militias to annex additional Ukrainian territory, having
already invaded and annexed Crimea.

I've also reported another part of the underlying story -- that there
are hundreds of Russian trolls paid by the Kremlin to lie on blogs and
social media.

Given the choice of believing the BBC, al-Jazeera, CNN and numerous
other media sources, versus believing you, then I choose to believe
them.

The Crimea vote was not "legitimate." It was a fraudulent election
controlled by Russian army forces, in the same way that Russian
elections are always controlled by "security forces" and are
always fraudulent.

The Russian militia leader bragged about shooting down the
passenger jet, before he realized it wasn't a warplane.

Claiming that the thousands of Russian soldiers are "volunteers" is a
particularly pathetic excuse, with no chance of being true. But even
if it were true, it would make no difference. Thousands of Russian
soldiers, whether "volunteering" or under orders, are invading Ukraine
and planning to annex large sections of Ukrainian territory in the
same way that they annexed Crimea.

And the only way that the USA is "threatening" WW III is that the
administration has repudiated the Truman doctrine for the first time
since the end of WW II, and is sitting on its hands.

Thank you, John. Read the quoted post and wanted to throw-up.

Back to the bad old days of the old Soviet Union. Twas a time when you couldn't accept anything they said at face value; same character different name (Russia); but then again you can't believe much of what comes out of Washington either, got to fact check everything. Let's hear it for the net; difficult to fathom a world again where you had to rely on ABCCBSNBCCNNLATimesNYTimesWashPost.

An item that re-enforces much of your analysis, content, and concern regarding our jeopardy - defense wise, that is. http://freebeacon.com/columns/remilitar ... ld-police/
