Its "Closing the barn door after the horse is gone." They already got their billions.

Obama is all talk. He hasn't done anything he said he would do. And now , he's just getting better at the politics...

Its gong to end badly... Crisis... Revolution... etc.

John, I really appreciate your web site and comments.

However, it is an inescapable fact that you, too, cannot escape your skin.

Your post is a typical post of a baby boomer. Remember this: the baby boomers took all resources from their parents, then spent all of their money and then some, and when they ran out of money, they began spending their children's and grandchildren's money.

The mess that we are in is entirely the baby boomers' responsibility. But for some reason, the baby boomers are still there and see it as their right to tell all other generations how to run their lives. After having essentially robbed all other generations in order to entitle themselves to a more and (economically) undeserved luxurious life.

All of society and many future generations will pay for the baby boomers' irresponsibility and economic follies.

Thanks,

Bob

Obama's kicking banker butt. Hip, hip, HUZZAH! And high time!

Okay - he's putting the regulator back on the pressure cooker after the beans have already splattered all over the kitchen. But better late than never.

And don't forget, the one main problem with the mental processes of a man like Obama is Analysis Paralysis. However, once the analyzing is done, the conclusion is generally sound. Unless, of course, you disagree with the original premise.

Obama's just making some noise to try to satisfy the pitchfork-wielding masses. And Wall Street is pretending it hurts for the same reason. Obama's bank tax proposal on the big ($50B+) banks amounted to $90 billion over 10 years. And we're supposed to believe that $9 billion a year is going to hurt an "industry" (isn't "racket" more descriptive) that gave out $150 billion in bonuses?

Obama knows who he works for, and whatever theater he performs for the masses isn't going to change that. I'll believe Obama is serious about reform when the MSM starts hauling out anyone with an economics PhD to tell us how the world will end if we follow his prescriptions.
