Diversity is a term used to inveigle the under-qualified ethnic and female into a job ring fenced for them; whilst stoking anti white, male sentiment. This left-wing credo has certainly taken hold of our institutions in the UK, with the concurrent, ongoing castigation of English culture and history, making it easy to bring in a new, diverse culture, as our so called leaders fall over each other to virtue signal. Unassimilable people will always, as long as our chromatic vision is employed, by their presence create issues, as is the race-relations industry to mention but one.

However, the powers that be have a solution: by massive immigration, over 3.5 million 3rd world immigrants, have arrived in the last 3 years , our minoritization will occur sooner than was predicted by Oxford University Statistician and population expert, David Coleman. Who said it will happen by the 2060s, possibly sooner.

During the abortion discussion on that thread, I said that a reasonable starting point for a young person wishing to get a perspective on abortion might be to talk to or read accounts from women who had abortions many decades ago. I also said that to get a perspective on racism a starting point might be to live in one of the state department no go zones in Africa for a few months. That's easier said than done, though.

There's also been some recent discussion on this board about the fact that Nigerians and Ghanans are the most highly educated and economically successful immigrant groups or maybe any group in the US.

So for another and more accessible view on racism it might be useful to seek out the opinions of West African immigrants. I've only heard one such opinion. What I was told by this person is that racism is a fact of life in the US but it's not enough to prevent someone from attaining goals, that it's just another obstacle that someone needs to find ways to get around.

The remarkable thing about standardized tests is that they predict future success in almost any vocation better than any other measure. They should remain the benchmark. But beyond that, of course, all sorts of diversity of interests, backgrounds, identity, class, race, religion and viewpoints are worth considering. Universities are for the intellectual elite. They shouldn’t be forced to become something alien to their core purpose.

Dark Age Chronicles

This post will describe my 2 days after Christmas in the new dark age.

Late yesterday evening, my wife told me that one of her friends had texted her saying she needs a favor, a big favor. (Before we started moving, I said there will be people wanting to move in with us. I said the answer needs to be no, and the reason is that your mother is moving in with us next month. I said let's agree to that now before it happens, because it's going to happen. We agreed.) So I said the big favor she needs is that she wants to move into our house. That turned out to be correct. I said I was surprised they were the first, but they won't be the last. We got more details this morning. He lost his IT job, her contract job ends in a few days, and they were scammed out of all their savings. They thought they were investing in a business. More bad news this morning. Their rent is $2,300 per month, December was not paid, and they are facing eviction. My wife gave her the canned response: her mother is moving into the house next month. But she added that we have this apartment vacated and they (and their kids) can live here until the lease runs out. She rejected that offer, saying she needs to keep the kids in the same school. After she got off the phone, my wife and I noted that she hasn't yet come to terms with how much trouble she is in.

When does the lease run out?

This morning I heard that she rented another apartment in the same school district. I was told she used the income from the contract job that's over to qualify and has no current job yet. I guess that's another example of people running rentals that have no idea what they're doing and will be expecting another bailout when it all falls apart.

Sort of. The person who does best at a university and a vocation is one who can fit in with that group of people. My guess is those at the 95th to 99th percentile on standardized tests for university and virtually all professional vocations. Those who are beyond the 99.0 or so percentile probably need to find something else to do unless they want to be a doctor, lawyer, or professor. The something else could be to go into business for themselves or to find a way to isolate themselves on the fringes of society as best they can.

The competency crisis hit another milestone. A Boeing door being blown off mid-flight is just one more sign of it. I am waiting for a diversity hire cockpit crew to crash an airliner and see of anyone has the guts to point out the obvious. I doubt the elites will and people will just lose faith in air travel and stop flying. That will be a good thing. I enjoy riding in a horse drawn carriage.
