Militarization of Swine Flu Preparations

I'm not going to take anything specific out of that article. I'll just let the rest of you have fun.

---------------------------------

Now, we still have to understand: it is difficult NOT to panic. Personally, I have no reason to panic when it's my life that might be in danger, as I know my life doesn't have as much consequence as I might feel it should. But I've already lost nearly all of my friends and relatives to either Death or Betrayal, and THAT is where the fear eats at me.

I feel stupid for having to make the reminder, but oh well: Regardless of personal feelings, when something like this happens that may be catastrophic, assume the worst-case scenario and prepare appropriately.

Those "coffins" don't even look like coffins (because they are not). Not sure which kind of paranoia is worse. Paranoia over the effects of the virus (causing you to act irrationally), or paranoia over the virus being a front for a government takeover.

They are made of plastic, and can accommodate several bodies at one time, being of plastic they assist in the incerating process.
The pentagon does all kinds of what if planning, you do want a military that plans ahead, right?

Those aren't coffins at all, they do go in the ground, but you would never just put a body in one. Those go AROUND coffins before you put them in the ground. Those seem a lot cheaper than the one from my grandmas funeral though. Apperantly these are not even owned by the government, let alone FEMA.

It's official. The "severe case" that takes the most lives is officially starting to run rampant.

So much for avoiding the worst-case scenario.

I would have to challenge the NY Times story.

Here is the actual WHO briefing, published today:
World Health Organization wrote: > Preparing for the second wave: lessons from current outbreaks

Note the next to last paragraph, which specifically denies the claims
of the NY Times story.

Perhaps the NY Times reporter has an additional source, or perhaps
the reporter simply misunderstood the WHO briefing.

The WHO briefing goes on to list additional warnings about
susceptibility of the young.

A possible way to minimize the flu issue, I use it, and for what it is worth, it has prevented colds.

The following is a quote from the above article:

I'm no doctor -- perhaps Dr. Witchiepoo could correct me if I'm wrong
-- but this looks dangerous to me.

H1N1 swine flu is different from colds or seasonal flu. In H1N1, the
person's lungs overreact by generating a "storm" of cytokines,
chemicals that are produced by the immune system. The stronger the
immune system, the greater the overreaction, and the more cytokines
that are produced. The result is that healthy victims are more likely
to die, because the cytokines flood the lungs and make breathing
impossible.

I would assume that if hydrogen peroxide stimulates the immune
system, then you would be more likely to die.

I would have to pull up research into previously read sources, but there is a fair amount or research regarding the effects of oxygenated blood, and that many disease's including some cancer's are caused by insufficient oxygen in the system .This is an anaerobic condition, many disease's thrive in an anaerobic environment. One of the reasons this kind of information is not pushed, is there is no money it. Just an example for information, http://www.angelfire.com/az/sthurston/h ... oxide.html, their are many others, and many different ways to combat the disease issue, and it is a complex issue and does not work for every thing, again, since there is no money it, it is not pushed. This is just another variation of the "Forbidden Archeology" information issue I presented earlier under "Financial Topics' Aug 22.
