I believe it.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

Otherwise H...a big WOW again from your side of the earth. My wife and I had something like this (although, not lease per-se) in Vegas some TZ time back. Went round and round with the Mr. X'er manager for don't how many days/weeks/months long on that and many other TZ issues that came up over the 2012-2013 year. Eventually worked it's way out, when we left. Hope yours turns out to be more in-favorable.
This will work out fine. Not having a written lease as the transition is made to a lease renewal or a move is to my advantage. Also, the best time to renew a lease is February because prices are the lowest here at that time of year. So having them "extend" it from December 31 to February 28 also works to my advantage.

I'd be more interested in knowing why they did it. I suspect it's because there are a slew of renters here who are late making payments and others who have given notice, and they are hoping this slows down in a couple months. But no way to know for sure and they won't be telling.

There have been no local Gen X Debacles to report for the past 6 days.

Getting back to the stock market, in early August I talked about a possible peak before it flopped around for a few days, ostensibly because of North Korea. I think there's a possibility for a peak this month but I haven't gone short yet. The day they push the tax cuts through there may be a bunch of hoopla over the money that will be repatriated and that may be all they have left for can kicking. But I want to study that a bit more. I've seen some interesting anecdotal things indicating we're near a top. Also, some savvy shorts who say this market is the most stretched they've ever seen it (according to their criteria) and are taking a beating but say they are staying the course.

I still think that bitcoin represents a huge danger to the market.
It was just two weeks ago that I writing about how it had surged
past $5K, and today it's up 5% today, above $7K. The question is
whether a bitcoin crash will trigger forced selling elsewhere.

What I heard about bitcoin this week is one of the anecdotal things indicating we're near a top. I wasn't terribly concerned hearing about a few speculators off in a dark corner playing with their virtual coins. But this week I heard that the Chicago Mercantile Exchange will begin trading a bitcoin contract. That means bitcoin has gone from the dark corners into the mainstream financial markets and, yes, now it definitely has the potential to infect the markets, not to forget what it says about current market psychology.

Bitcoin surges to record above $6,400 after CME announces launch of futures for digital currency

CME says it plans to launch bitcoin futures by the end of the year, pending regulatory review.
Bitcoin surges to a record in response to the announcement from the world's largest futures exchange.
The growth of bitcoin derivatives is also another step toward the development of the digital currency as a more established asset class.

I don't think there's been anything quite like this since the 1637 Tulip Mania.

Well, here in Europe everything is going to hell as fast.
In 2018 they want to introduce a 15% tax on savings above 5000 euro's...
That's the shitstorm we're already in. Why do you think so many Europeans are flooding into bitcoin? The rise came almost exactly as they "launched the idea". Our governements are so broke they import as many immigrants as possible and "declare" that they'll contribute the same to GDP as the average citizen right now so they can borrow against them.
And now they also want to tax your house for 3% if you downpaid it! For fuck sake!
Our lost generation is now really lost. I'm glad I'm 40 and already made it because it sucks right now to be young. When I see what we all did and could I can only pity the young.
When it all implodes, it will take 7 years at least before the situation normalises. I don't know a lot people who can cover a period like that. sd

Senator Dianne Feinstein, who said the past year had seen “a cataclysmic change” in American politics. This is “the beginning of cyber

warfare,” she declared, and technology companies “have to really take a look at that and what role you play.”

Incorrect statement since 1993. I wrote the Senate in 1993 about the gatekeepers moral compass

5-Nov-17 World View -- Saad Hariri shocks Lebanon by resigning as PM while in Saudi Arabia: Lebanon enters the Sunni/Shia front line between Iran and Saudi Arabia...

Zephaniah 2:4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.

The Syriac version is, "and Ekron shall be as Hebron". The mirror effect to current affairs few will see for as we have seen in the true sense is, that here should be a remnant, according to the election of grace. Micah 5:2 compared with Matthew 2:6 is the veil.

The intent of Dan was also a thread included. No one knows or should assume unless that seal is opened to them alone.
