As a victim of Brazilian educational system I can assure you that children had been brain-washed with a socialist agenda since the country started to adopt the methods of Paulo Freire.
Brazilian philosopher and educator, influenced by Marxist thought and a pioneer of "popular education."
His work was intended to empower the oppressed through literacy programs to raise social and political awareness.
Maintaining power by breaking up larger concentrations of power into pieces that individually have less power.
Even if they started this decade nothing will change for another.
