"The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they
imagine they can design." Friedrich August von Hayek

There were several puzzled looking stick figures standing before a chalkboard.
Phase 1 was a complex series of equations on the chalkboard on the left.
Phase 3 was the solution to the equations on the right hand side.
Phase 2 was a big blank spot in the middle represented by "FM". The occurrence of an F***ing Miracle.
The putative objective - "control economy" - is a slogan. It's there for numbskulls to pin their hopes on, and for slightly-less-numbskulls to parse and evaluate. It's public relations and perception management.
The actual objective of monetary policy is "enrich self, cronies and other members of the overseer class". That is the actual objective of all policy.
'They' have no interest in controlling the economy, except to the extent that a normally-functioning economy keeps the marks from becoming aware that they're being hosed.
'They' don't give a flying fuck what happens to the economy so long as there is deniability (for them) of responsibility when the upwards-transfer mechanism causes economic dislocations - which it does routinely, since the relationship of the private (wealth-creating) sector to the .gov parasite is the equivalent of a 200lb man carrying another 200lb man on his back... where the parasite being carried gets first call on any food.
Thank God that Engineers are not as clueless and incompetent as Economystics cultists / central bankers. From a Control Systems Engineering point of view everything is wrong with central banking. I wouldn't know where to begin to try to explain this technically. I'll try an analogy.
The Economystics cultists are trying to do something like individually controlling all of the vehicles moving at, say 70 mph on a busy 10-lane US Interstate highway. Think downtown Atlanta, Georgia, and I-75. There are tens of thousands of automobiles and trucks on the highway. The Federal Open Market Committee meets once per day to adjust each vehicles throttle position and steering wheel angle. Every vehicle is wrecked inside of the first 30 seconds.
The Economystics cultists / central bankers are truly ignorant morons who are so clueless that they don't realize how clueless they truly are. They have immense power to f*** everything up. But, that's a far cry from succeeding at controlling an immensely complex system.
Funny is it not how toxic sausage and margin asset management are set on fire like cheap hookers as actual conditions take over five years to correct to put the hooker back on the corner. Miss earnings by a nickel and be crucified or go private and watch the semantics to chapter nine rentier energy market looters skip happily along. Straight from mommy's nipple to university to corporate life without ever confronting as much as a blister.

Sorry......I work surrounded by engineers. They can design a rocket but would have no idea why they designed it and how to sell it and if all of their calculations will really work out as planned. Not all of them, but many of them have come to believe their own b.s. They have been taught that the almighty formula supersedes reality. The reality is when their designs get into the hands of a guy with an 8th grade education they collapse under the scrutiny of common sense. Not all are like this. But many of them are.

What could we do better?
What could we learn from each other?...

As Mises conveyed the services middle men provide and the human action of ex ante and ex post criteria.

Isaiah 24:1 "Behold, the Lord lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants."
Job 9:5-6 "It is God who removes the mountains, they know not how, When He overturns them in His anger; Who shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble."
Psalms 46:2 "though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea."

No one wants that day.

As we predicted from isa and amos the key will be ankara and miserys of old retold.

As for the further magnetic north study.

Capital takes flight as Erdogan's tyranny grows...

noted: Turkish parliament seems to be in the process of being beaten into submission, just like the German Reichstag in 1932-1933.

Bonus points if you can figure out where the traders that arrived in Rasht were arriving from!

The Nations of Meshech
The Nation of Meshech was believed to have originated from the north-east of Asia Minor particularly the area which Turkey now occupies. Then they travelled north and settled in Rosh, the modern day Russia.
They traded copper vessels and people as slaves along with the people of Tubal and Javan.
It is thought that Meshech started the barbaric and brutal nation of Moschi who inhabited the Moschian Mountains that connected the lands of the Caucasus to the Anti-Taurus Mountains. Their heads were protected by “wooden caps”. And they were armed with “shields and small spears”. The name Moscow is said to have come from the term Moschi.
Moschi was closely related to the nations of Tubal named Toboli in Asia Minor. Together, they were the great opponents of the Assyrians for generations. These two nations, along with the nation of Madai were known to be harsh and tough people, not advisable to live with or especially not to have a conflict with.
Aside from the Moschi, Meshech was also identified with Rossi, the modern day Russians. The Rossi and Moschi have enormously multiplied their nations in the Russian area.
Moscow and Meshech
Meshech in the Bible
Genesis 10:1-2, 1 Chronicles 1:4-5. Meshech is the grandson of Noah born after the Great Flood and the sixth son of Japheth along with Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, and Tiras.
1 Chronicles 1:17, Genesis 10:22-23. Meshech, the fourth son of Aram, the youngest son of Shem.
Psalms 120:5-6. The place of the unmerciful nation of Meshech.
Ezekiel 27:13. Meshech, Tubal, and Javan traded slaves and bronze vessels.
Ezekiel 32:26. The troops of Meshech and Tubal were defeated and killed.
Ezekiel 38:2, 3 39:1. Prophecy against Gog, the prince who ruled the people of Meshech and Tubal.

It is my experience that bold decisions give the best promise of success. But one must differentiate between [strategic] and tactical boldness.

Rommel was executed since nasal diphtheria, like tetanus, was caused by the toxin, or poison,...

A gamble, on the other hand, is an operation which can lead either to victory or to the complete destruction of one's force. Situations can arise where even gamble may be justified - as, for instance, when in the normal course of events defeat is merely a matter of time, when the gaining of time is therefore pointless and the only chance lies in an operation of great risk.
During the campaign in the Low Countries and France, Rommel's command vehicle was a modified Panzer III tank, and this vehicle was often seen on the front lines; at times, he would also ride with Colonel Karl Rothenburg in a Panzer IV tank, or fly high above in a Storch observation aircraft. Whatever the means of transportation was, he always wanted to be close to the front lines so that he could appraise the situation. On 14 May, his troops reached the Meuse River, but halted while waiting for the engineers to set up a pontoon bridge. Being close to the front lines, Rommel immediately reached the area and personally led a number of tanks to cross the river on ferries to keep up the offensive momentum; his colleague Heinz Guderian, on the other hand, waited, thus giving French troops before him some time to re-organize.

On 27 May 1940, at the end of a routine conference with armor commanders, his aid Karl Hanke appeared unexpectedly, announcing "[o]n the Führer's orders I herewith bestow on Herr General the Knight's Cross", making him the first divisional commander to be awarded the Knight's Cross in France. His connections with the Nazi Party in Munich and Berlin probably had much to do with the award, but none could argue against his successes. On that same night of the award, he pushed forward toward Lille, one of the biggest French industrial centers. "Mount up! Start Engines! Advance!" He ordered his armor while other armor commanders were just settling down to get a few hours' sleep. The surprise night attack frustrated the the French and British retreat toward Dunkirk, but it also brought his units in the direct path of German artillery shells which had no idea his armor had already made so much progress; he had no choice but to pull back slightly and let his men rest until the morning.

Oldwood •Nov 4, 2016 6:30 PM We are so fortunate that our world has evolved to the point that we no longer need invest in ourselves. We now can simply rely on investment "professionals" to convert our earnings into casino chips that can be used to power the world's economy, generating unearned income from a system of fraud and misdirection.

Estimate's of fifteen percent are 20 discounts points on msrp here as we speak, close on early estimates posted, so close enough for now.
I hope the French land back on their feet since truly they had our backs a few times over time. Since 1989 that's changed as Father Malachi warned us. Once they see the Sun came up over here I cannot discount a dead cat ping and dirty shirts mentioned as the usual suspects, who knows would indeed be beyond the pale. By spring we should see some clarification to effects. CAR is looking rather poor as John indicates and the Kurds basically as 15 million in Turkey speaks of zone issues already trended.

Eric Dor from the IESEG School of Business in Lille said France has clung too long to a high-tax dirigiste model - with state spending near 56pc of GDP - but has also made a hash of globalisation. "The Germans make top quality cars that export well to China and the BRICS while French cars are not fit for that market at all.

"There has been a huge difference in strategy. The Germans outsourced the low value-added parts to Eastern Europe, but continued to assemble the cars in Germany itself. When the French relocate to emerging markets, they shift the whole production, losing all the value-added and the jobs," he said.

No need to comment on what is going in the amero cartel regions other than the pre staged aluminum thought maps already seen as the river went down to orient repo scams and the LME surety raid noted.

The carry trade was no accident as we noted from the parity notes. The QE Trap John posted covers it also for those who spend the effort.
The depeg was no accident either to pay for some assets later.
Of the 7 step we at 4 for taxpayers as the head wannabee dimmcrats announce Bill Clinton will head the economics who already stepped on us before. It defies all logic as Unions call to vote dimmcrat or rhinorepublothugs as sticky wage are the same deck.
Trended at the inception of Gatt Uruguay Round - 1986-1994 The U.S. goods trade deficit with NAFTA was $94.6 billion in 2010, a 36.4% increase ($25 billion) over 2009. The U.S. goods trade deficit with NAFTA accounted for 26.8% of the overall U.S. goods trade deficit in 2010.
In one sector alone from 1975, 12,000 workers were represented by 14 unions. By 1990, the number had declined to 4,800 union workers and seven unions.
When some of the work shifted to Malasia many where canaled which was a bullet in the head for asking a question as the dippers as they where called in the electronic sector where poisoned until the community called jihad since some where muslim girls. Only a fool cannot link the implications to date on "zones" safety cultures.
Baffle's the mind the Unions Head call to vote dimmcratic desolations once again since automation will indeed increase as before.

Conclusions:
The terrible bottom line here is that the school of thought that encouraged the idea that the financial system could properly price subprime derivatives is the same one that assumes the economy fixes itself and we don’t really need to pay too close attention to the banking sector. They also brought us the view that exporting jobs to China won’t really hurt us (remember, they assume we return to full employment automatically), we can allow merger after merger and not experience a decline in competitiveness (you know, like in health care), austerity measures help fix economies (they’ve done wonders for Greece), tax cuts for the rich increase investment (they actually increase saving, which lowers firm sales and thereby lowers investment), education needs to be privatized (so the poor get excluded), etc, etc.

He declined to meddle with the magistrate's office. Many crimes merit far more severe punishment than they meet with; but we should not leave our own work, to take that upon ourselves to which we are not called. When Christ sent her away, it was with this caution, Go, and sin no more. Those who help to save the life of a criminal, should help to save the soul with the same caution. Those are truly happy, whom Christ does not condemn. Christ's favour to us in the forgiveness of past sins should prevail with us, Go then, and sin no more.
John 8:11 Commentaries

Despite the introduction of tobacco cultivation, the colony was a failure as a financial venture. The king declared the Virginia Company bankrupt in 1624. About 200,000 pounds were lost among the investors. The charter was thereby revoked, and Virginia became a royal colony, the first in America to be ruled by the Crown. Investments in permanent settlements were risky indeed. The merchants and gentry paid with their pocketbooks. Many colonists paid with their lives. For every six colonists who ventured across the Atlantic, only one survived.

130% WHAT THE FUCK! I live in Dallas. Raise the taxes and I move out. I'm already paying for the bullshit community college, the failing hospital that they just had to build, a school system where 70% of the kids aren't proficient in ANY language. It takes the cops 20 minutes to respond. AND the property values here have been going up since 2009! And "diversity" members on the city council get to sit at council meetings while being tried for corruption. The AG is insane. Clinically. Fuck YOU, City of Dallas.

After Detroit 50,000 of the truly educated had to leave or use savings to survive, or starve as it collapsed. She went to China to start a Hospital, then went to Texas, soon to come back it appears since crackers only supply fruit loops after polar bear hunting for recreation. When the age of the gentile ends we know the horse that rides and what follows.

Move now, since nirp is smug payback for the alleged deist revolution and internecine banking slaughters soon after as zirp is tax one penny under revolt only and to flush out illicit money. Sismondi was suppressed until 1963 as they discussed it in Paris even as Marx went to England to view what the alleged industrial revolution wrought to children that could not survive any other way as it was told. Any other thought is capital to be lost to timelines that Darwin on his death bed annulled to sell academia books and debt structures to demure common rabble like me.

2017 to 2018 we assume is critical mass as tangible managed capital assets are rotated out to margin cluster facilities to survive.
Of course we are always wrong and hope to be as they are sitting on a billion rounds of crowd control.
Empires always turn inward and providence always warns us that snowflakes are not special.
Thus the warning to limited and thinking local politics, since you are witnessing is just that.
Buckle up Cowboy we had been warned that we will get good and hard what we deserve in politics.

ZIRP = quicksand with repressionary intent --- or to view the intent some consider the usury question http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Magna_Carta zirp back then solved more bias routes than actual "interest" can cure
NIRP = tar pit for savers to chase yield
Publicly traded corporations = dinosaurs bones picked clean with effective tax rate regimes

Repressionary asset stripper regimes as the NEO tools qued up for the desolations boulevard to the formless asymmetric solution.

The point is they are told what to diagnose only to not be sued since to ignore it costs nothing as services decline since deductible's
increase the thought map moves to ignore since preventive codes are only allowed to be paid.

The Disability Index is sensitive to change and is a good predictor of future disability costs. It has been shown to be reliable and valid in different languages and contexts. Test-retest correlations have ranged from 0.87 to 0.99. Correlations between interview and questionnaire format have ranged from 0.85 to 0.95. Validity has been demonstrated in literally hundreds of studies.

My last Doctor was fired for asking a stupid question since his PA was asking even more stupid questions.
My new Doctor is versed to a razor point on these points but is still a good fellow and will not even ask since
I feel they have lost the ability to help since when the money runs out the cord always is pulled anyways.

Anyways,

The objective isn't to control the conflict, it's to control the debt that the conflict produces.
You see, the real value of a conflict, the true value, is in the debt that it creates. You control the debt, you control everything.

"The New World Order will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down ... but an end run on national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault."

That original piece of paper was inspired by more than you considered.
Thatcher was correct until and with the simple point it was papered over by the paper tigers. Until the Sheep come for there lunch money nothing will ever and never change. As we alluded to the MIC will figure this out as Greshams law once again just as the so called barbarians did earlier which we call spoils to the Praetorian victors.
Locally we sheltered in place people those unable to pay taxes and the debt is under control.
We elected some who indeed looked ahead and basically can do math, but we are a smaller area compared to the monster on your door step.

After listening for over a year to those who wants serve us, I have the personal view it will not be about so called social experiment called democracy. Actually the supply chains that provide services will tell us more. The response time to our current water issue cemented that view for us basically locally under our roof of discussions.

Some may save millions of dollars in banks and investments or hoard millions in gold, but they will be worth little if food cannot be bought at any price. “A quart of wheat for a day’s wage… and do not damage the oil and the wine,” is declared at the opening of the third seal in Revelation 6:6.

The average day’s wage in a western country is about $150 a say. A single farm truck full of some 200 bushels of wheat will be worth about a million dollars during the Tribulation. The average person will work all day just to make enough to have something to eat that day; the bare subsistence of a socialist economy. Like Stalin did in the Ukraine, the world will be starved into submission. Now the south of the border is truly not far away now is it.

We are warned about the signs of the weather and ignore the times as we see intent indeed supersedes interpretation for to many.

As we noted from the ftp files as we tripped over from 2006. They could not prevent it and they were told it was to be.
That is indeed fact, just as the poor woman recently thought dead and dumped in the well of despair. He was not deaf to her plea.
Words cannot convey what has been, and should be heard. Free will indeed is a blessing and a curse.

Remaining isolated from the continent prevented the corruption of the Latin language that occurred in European monasteries. The Irish fervor for learning encouraged writing, and Celtic monks provided beautiful manuscripts illustrated with geometric patterns, Celtic images, and Oriental elements passed down from the original monasteries in the east. The most profound difference between Celtic and Roman monasticism, however, was found in the very nature of each community. Continental monasteries were refuges from the world, and by the mid-fifth century, under rules established by Saint Benedict of Nursia; such Benedictine monasteries favored moderation over asceticism.

Three monks from monasteries established by Benedict Biscop became highly influential members of Christendom: the previously mentioned Bede; Saint Boniface, whose work included conversion of the Frisians and Swabians in Germany; and Alcuin of York, who carried Christianity and intellectualism into the illiterate court of the Frankish king, Charlemagne.

Christian Martyrs during Blood Moons Jihad destroyed a Christian Middle East and a Christian North Africa. Soon it was the fate of the Persian Zoroastrian and the Hindu to be the victims of jihad. The history of political Islam is the destruction of Christianity in the Middle East, Egypt, Turkey and North Africa.

Half of Christianity was lost. Before Islam, North Africa was the southern part of Europe (part of the Roman Empire). Around 60 million Christians were slaughtered during the jihadic conquest. Half of the glorious Hindu civilization was annihilated and 80 million Hindus killed. The first Western Buddhists were the Greeks descended from Alexander the Great’s army in what is now Afghanistan. Jihad destroyed all of Buddhism along the silk route. About 10 million Buddhists died. The conquest of Buddhism is the practical result of pacifism. Zoroastrianism was eliminated from Persia. The Jews became permanent dhimmis throughout Islam.
