When private actors provide government services at a profit – especially monopoly services like water and power – the natural tendency is to confiscate the budget for public goods and extort the captive population. These “consumers” are, in fact, captives because they have no other place to turn for affordable service. Are you going to build your own water distribution network with cars?
This problem with privatizing essential government functions has been a major issue since the days of the Magna Carta and tax farming (i.e., privatized, for-profit tax collection on “commission”).
Snyder used the capital-intensive pipe network as a choke point. It was a single, central place nobody paid any attention where he could steal a fortune with a game of three card monte. He substituted inferior water that then damaged the already dodgy pipes to the point they were unusable thanks to corrosion. Somebody, somewhere pocketed the money that was “saved” – probably a class warfare transfer in the form of a tax cut. To sum up, the governor and his cronies are just another batch of counterfeiters. He took good water away, substituted bad and then tried to discredit all the auditors who caught on to the “funny money,” if you will. It’s the same scam that’s been run at S&Ls, hedge funds and Chinese milk producers. The attacks on whistleblowers follow the same pattern of Charles Keating against Bill Black.

The only efficiency that counts here is in collecting political rents.

If we can’t talk right now about how much cheaper lead abatement would be in these neighborhoods than incarceration, then we’ll never be able to address it.
We’ve also counterfeited food by taking fiber out of the food supply and then lying on TV about how good the processed pseudofood is. It’s another pollutant because fiber is an essential component of human nutrition. Without it, you suffer from fiber-deficiency – inflammation and insulin resistance. The second chapter of the 2nd century BC Book of Jubilees contains a paraphrase of the events of the creation week. It was written by a Pharisee, who was possibly also a priest, who was opposed the hellenization which was being promoted by many of the priests in the period after Antiochus IV. R.H. Charles wrote:
His work constitutes an enlarged Targum on Genesis and Exodus, in which difficulties in the biblical narrative are solved, gaps supplied, dogmatically offensive elements removed, and the genuine spirit of later Judaism infused into the primitive history of the world. His object was to defend Judaism against the attacks of the hellenistic spirit that had been in the ascendant one generation earlier and was still powerful, and to prove that the law was of everlasting validity.
This work makes no mention of the naming of Day, Night, Heaven, Earth, and Sea, that is found the Genesis account. This is an indication that the statements about God assigning these names were not present in the original account, but were added at a late date. Either the Book of Jubilees was written before the text of Genesis 1 was changed, or its author considered those statements to be hellenistic corruptions and omitted mention of them. They are included in the account Josephus provides, and he also adds that evening morning were named.
The Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament comments as follows on "firmament."
In pre-Christian Egypt confusion was introduced into biblical cosmology when the LXX, perhaps under the influence of Alexandrian theories of a 'stone vault' of heaven, rendered 'rakia' by 'stereoema,' suggesting some firm, solid structure. This Greek concept was then reflected by the Latin 'firmamentum,' hence KJV 'firmament.' To this day negative criticism speaks of the 'vault, or "firmament," regarded by Hebrews as solid, and supporting "waters" above it' (BDB, p. 956); cf. the rendering of Job 37:18, 'The skies, strong (uzim) as a molten mirror' (cf Psa 150:1) their 'mighty expanse', changed by the RSV to read, 'the skies, hard.' Babylonian mythology recounts how Marduk used half of Tiamat's carcass to from the heavens (shamamu) held in place by a crossbar (!).
In the OT, however, Isaiah insists that God 'stretches out the heavens [lit.] like gauze (doq, Isa 40:22).

Since its formation, only one President of the United States has attempted to override the power of the Federal Reserve and the Roman Catholic Church by ordering the US Treasury to print its own money. The money was destroyed the day after he ceased to be President. In terms of Private Banks, in 1986, the total asset value held was said to be US$4,300 Billion. In 1997, the figure has more than doubled to $10,000 Billion. In year 2000 alone, the figure hit $13,600 Billion trillion, and is currently still growing at a rate of 30 percent per year. The current estimate of total asset value of deposits held by private banks is around $17,000 Billion. Millions died for something they never seen. They will not be excused either since one will Judge all.

Each dollar is finite in its ability to create economic growth via consumption.
A dollar spent on a manufactured good has a greater multiplier effect on the economy than the same dollar spent on a service.
The small to mid size farms are folding up and nothing can replace that now other than your garden very soon.
Inflation is no different than a death tax of thinking people to produce. I continue to hear one farmer every 30 minutes fail
in one region alone and commits suicide over there. Numbers indicate once again input costs out run profit.
As we know 1/10 of a machine hour metered convey 6 minutes of machine hours run. Last season one of my my favorite tractors
hit 4444 hours. We are a small outfit and also plugged to affairs as many outfits know the head winds better than most. I do consider
what we seen before as slow at first then at once extremely viable since what is coming is preservation of capital first, everything else
comes second. Many work other jobs in addtion to keep you eating. Age and common sense appear before judgement. It would be wise
to bake your own bread for a few years as to fathom why we say that.
