Re: Lost Generation and Millennials
I'm not a millennial. But I feel an affinity with the Lost Generation, because I feel "alike to" my mother, and she felt as if she absorbed the "spirit" of her mother and father who was of the Lost Generation (born in 1910-ish).Tom Mazanec wrote:Parallels:

So, I've always felt like an ancient Lostee,.. and by extension sympathetic to those millennials who feel "between things" and "lost and wandering".
(I'm technically a Baby Boomer, on the border-ish with the GenXers.)
I personally think that the Millennials will stomp the crap out of the GenXers, and power us through the upcoming conflict. I won't be stomping anybody, but I will cheer them on.
..but I'll also try to chill them out of their bloodlust after they've taken "quite enough already!" heads.
