The US government tables go back to 1909. I found graphs of the birth rates going back to 1909 and graphs of the birth numbers going back to 1930. I ended up making my own graph of the birth numbers going back to 1909.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.
