Re: HUNGARY election and far right movements..
From the picture you are painting, this Jobbik party sounds more like our American Tea Party movement of ordinary people just fed up with the political double speak and open flagrant fraud from all the elites. I hope that it true and that you are able to make a difference in your country. Magyars ha...

Re: generational conflict between y and boomers...your thoughts,
During the 2008 election, I was a frequent visitor to Pro-Hillary Clinton sites. During the Primary they became utterly surprised at how nasty the Democrat Party was being. (I had fun saying things like "Well, now you know how Republicans have been treated by Democrats/Media when opposing Democrats...

Re: generational conflict between y and boomers...your thoughts,
I totally agree with you. I keep hearing how the TP movement is just a bunch of right-wing GOP whackos, but I actually went to an event down in Texas and it's NOTHING like most describe it. It's main-stream Americans, much like me (and you from what I can tell) that are honestly worried about where...

Re: "Generation Zero - The Inconceivable Truth" - the movie
... But one could easily develop a nice conspiracy theory regarding the Bush administration guiding the war on terror based on a secret reliance on generational dynamics. They directing the focus on the war on terror away from Afghanistan to Iraq, knowing that a country in an awakening era was the ...

Re: generational conflict between y and boomers...your thoughts,
... I agree and tend to think that the Gen-Xers will do something (get us in a global war?) to bail out our kids (I guess I'm a Gen-Xer by definition), but how do you think it will transpire? I see most Gen-Xers supporting issues they *think* will be good for their kids when in reality, it will not...

Re: generational conflict between y and boomers...your thoughts,
... I haven't read the book, but it makes sense on the surface. The Boomers are making sure the government takes care of them and the Gen-Xers are too caught up in the NOW to care about the future. Once they do start to care, it will be too late. You really should read this book if you are interest...

Re: Scandals in the Church as generational corruption?
That is interesting. Are you saying this is the case despite of the fact that those countries should be well into awakening periods now? Or are you saying that the high/recovery period should be about to close, brining on some of the new more liberal attitudes that awakening periods generally bring...

Re: The Fourth Turning Civil War Started Today
... Young people voted for Obama in large numbers, I don't think Yers have the same hatred in the government that Generation Jones has. Xers are a sort of drop out generation, they don't particularly care about what's going on with these tea parties. They already had their rebellion in the 80s, ear...

Re: Climate Change
The ice core data shows a correlation alright.... that Air Temp Changes are followed, hundreds of years later, by changes to the CO2 level in the air. So it's the opposite relationship than the one the Alarmists suggested. The charts that I've seen don't seem to be accurate to that scale so I could...
