Re: Moderately Speaking
Is there an alternate solution? If, by "alternate solution," you mean move the web site to another service, that's pretty much a nightmare. I did that three years ago when the service at web.com got so bad that I did move to Network Solutions. Now the service at Netsol is degrading, but moving is a...

To Kirbymuxloe: The previous message is spam, and as long as it isn't repeated it, I won't delete it, since it does have some relevance. Also, if you don't want it deleted, please change the link text from "Arab News", which is a different service, to "New Cissa." You might also wish to explain what...

Re: Moderately Speaking
The entire web site was almost completely down since about 6 pm
ET, but now seems to be back up. The problem was with
Network Solutions, whose service is becoming increasingly
worrisome.

Re: Generation-X culture vs Boomer culture
I came across this as I was searching through some old material. In 2007, I posted an article on Gen-X nihilism. A number of people sent responses to me. Here's one of them: > As an Xer, I actually enjoyed reading your perspective on this. > I found your computer industry experiences enlightening. T...

Re: LTRO leads to huge shock in Europe today
Here's an additional angle to the above. It seems that European banks HAVE been buying some toxic Spanish and Italian bonds in the last few weeks, pushing yields down a little. But once a bank has those toxic bonds in its portfolio, it's allowed to use them as collateral to borrow money from the ECB...

LTRO leads to huge shock in Europe today
*** LTRO leads to huge shock in Europe today There's been an enormous drama in play in Europe today, and officials are in a state of shock.
