Re: 24-Nov-13 World View -- China demands air space control

Will the U.S. defend Japan? Or will there be a few years after it starts in Asia before the U.S. gets involved?

Re: Financial topics

You're going to need more then solar panels and food: “We’re not in it to stockpile. We’re in it to take what you have and there’s nothing you can do to stop us,” Tyler Smith says. “We are your worst nightmare, and we are coming.” Most preppers, Smith says, are concerned with marauders taking their ...

Re: Financial topics

During a period of decline, before the arrival of a dark age proper, the processes of disintegration, disorganisation and discohesion, which have already occurred in reality, begin filtering through into perceptions. As perceptions catch up with the reality, people comment on their problems at leng...

Re: Financial topics

I believe the point about the United States and Western Europe providing the world technical, financial, educational ( knowledge base ) infrastructure that can carry, to a substantial degree, the likes of South Africa, Belarus or even Russia during a collapse; ( that point ) is probably more profou...

Re: Financial topics

I always thought South Africa was a good example of decline. Never looked at Belarus but that also seems to be a good model. If we have a slow decline, and infrastructure and technology stay in place, maybe it will be more like South Africa instead of a collapse back to 150 years ago. A Simple Examp...

Re: Financial topics

Reminds me of "A Study of Our Decline" by Philip Atkinson. Certainly makes a strong point for a coming Dark Age. http://www.ourcivilisation.com/ http://www.ourcivilisation.com/whycare.htm The General Impact Of The Decline Of A Civilization From 'A Study Of Our Decline' by P Atkinson (9/2/2011) When ...

Re: Financial topics

Higgenbotham, thanks for your thoughts. I agree with your post. I have been called a doomer because of similiar statements. Before anyone dismisses me as being a survivalist nutjob, I didn't believe in any of this until I learned about Generational Dynamics. I am simply attempting to use this theory...

Re: Financial topics

I am a daily reader. I am a Millennial, I have nowhere near the financial experience anyone here has but I understand Generational Dynamics and know something bad is coming. My grandmother who lived through the depression always said another depression would come. I don't have anything important to...
