The alliance is the latest sign of an emerging bipartisan anti-war coalition in the House of Representatives that has found common ground on measures to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria and end U.S. military support for the Saudi-led war in Yemen. “Warmongers in Congress still outnumber those who wish to end forever wars, but that will never undermine our determination to keep up this fight,” Gaetz told The Intercept.

Re: Financial topics

Germany’s much-touted liquefied natural gas terminals in Brunsbuttel and Wilhelmshaven in northern Germany could take from four years to build. If German corporations and citizens can stand the pain, Gulf produces and even the USA will benefit.
Qatar and Iran, who share the Persian fields, could sell their gas more competitively if they could lay pipelines across Syria and, via Turkey or the Mediterranean Sea, reach Europe.
Some of the same powers are fighting over Yemen in a Western-instigated battle for its oil and gas — the key competitors: UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Israel is reported to have secretly signed a deal with Syria in Jan 2022 to pipe gas to Lebanon via an existing pipeline.
Two fields, the Leviathan and the Tamar, hold the vast majority of Israel’s gas reserves.
The latter was signed into a deal in 2021 with United Arab Emirates’ Mubadala Petroleum, which bought a 22 per cent deal worth at the time $1.1 bn.
It’s not just a question of who owns what. Israel has struggled to attract the investment it needs to develop its fields.
If constraints on Russia increase the attractiveness of Israel’s gas, that will help drive investment.

Europe’s Elite want their citizens to believe open borders and migration from Islamic countries will solve their need for a future workforce due to a shrinking population. I call their bluff. If they need workers, why not get them from the poorer parts of the EU–Romania, Bulgaria, Greece? This isn’t about guest workers. This is about the Left securing a voting block so they can be voted into office in perpetuity. Islam makes for a perfect partner in their endeavor to achieve political dominance. Both conspire to tear down society and rebuild their utopian ideal. What the Left doesn’t realize is when Islam ultimately takes power, as it tends to do, the last laugh will be on the them, just as it was with the Tudeh Party in Iran. In the end, Islam has no loyalty to Kafirs. Dr. Warner

Eighty-seven Tudeh officials caught prison sentences ranging from eight months to life; these “lucky” ones, along with hundreds of other Tudeh adherents arrested in the years to come, would later be well-represented among the victims of Iran’s 1988 slaughter of political prisoners.

Some consider Javert misguided rather than evil, although his inflexibility and cruelty throughout the novel moves in parallel to Jean Valjean's kindness. Those who consider Javert misguided believe that the distinction of pure evil in the novel more appropriately belongs to the greedy and treacherous Thénardiers. Others consider the Thénardiers dishonest, petty criminals, whose actual negative impact on the protagonists is minor compared to the significant levels of spite and mercilessness Javert inflicts on those he encounters.
