One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist.

Veer Savarkar was the leader of the Hindu nationalist Hindutva
movement, which has been violent at times in the past. It's for that
reason that Savarkar is called a terrorist, not because of his
writings in 1909.

One who joined the fight for justice and the freedom struggle yes, not a "terrorist".

It is improper to label him "terrorist". That is an attempt to discredit Savarkar and bias the readers.

It is easy to discredit people by labelling them with epithets that are currently in vogue in the media for "enemies".

That is just name calling.
